Recently I went on a 6 week holiday to the USA! This holiday was long overdue as I have not been on a holiday for a few years. After all why not experience new things while you still have the chance. So with that I packed up my things and went on an awesome journey that has left me with so many amazing memories. “No Regrets” was the motto I continued to tell myself throughout this trip. I wanted to make sure I stepped out of my comfort zone and had an open mind in order to make myself try new things so that I could not only grow as a person but gain knowledge of new cultures.
Along the way i got the chance to do some amazing activities like horseback riding and hot air ballooning in Albuquerque, New Mexico, visiting the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, having a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, going on a speed boat in Miami, Florida and so much more. I also managed to go and see WWE Wrestlemania 30 which is like the superbowl of professional wrestling. If you think wrestling is not big you are sadly mistaken as there were 75,167 people at Wrestlemania 30!
All up i managed to visit 22 states which included California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York !
While most of my holiday went without any problems i will mention that while i was in the US i did experience my first ever TORNADO! kind of scary, yet exciting at the same time. I survived though so that’s all that matters, right?
I managed to get a few photographic job related shoots while in America however this post will mainly be focusing on the “holiday” side of the tour. Keep an eye out for the next blog post which will highlight the work side of the trip which allowed me to do a photo-shoot in the Nevada desert!
Here are a few pictures of my time in America. *Some of the pictures were taken on my phone, hence why the quality may be different on some pictures*
