Aqeela & Narayan – Gold Coast Indian Engagement Photographer
Aqeela & Narayan had a traditional Indian engagement party on the Gold Coast to celebrate their engagement and future marriage together.
I was super excited to be the photographer for this Indian engagement as i love when i get the chance to experience different cultures and see their customs up close.
The celebration of Aqeela & Narayan’s engagement was a full day event. Throughout the day there were many traditional elements as well as a high energy party to end the night on a high! Aqeela & Narayan’s had their closest family & friends in attendance that had people coming from all over Australia but also overseas.
This Indian engagement party was styled beautifully with a jaw dropping flower wall that i was loving from a photography standpoint 🙂
The night would be completed with a dance performance from Aqeela & Narayan’s close friends. This dance was so impressive you would have thought it was something out of a music video or stage show.
After receiving gifts and finishing the traditions Indian customs Aqeela & Narayan would end the night with a speech. During this speech Narayan said one of the things he loves most about Aqeela was her incredible voice. All the guests in attendance would then start chanting “sing, sing sing!” after a lot of peer pressure Aqeela would sing a beautiful version of “Hallelujah”. Needless to say, once Aqeela starting singing everyone was almost in tears (myself included). It literally gave you chills listening to such a beautiful song to celebrate the love of two people.
I had an amazing time getting to be a part of Aquella & Narayan’s special day. This Gold Coast Indian engagement was simply stunning! I hope you all enjoy scrolling through these images as much as I did photographing it.
